CAD Portfolio Acquisition

Your design archive is an asset.
We'd like to buy it.

We buy CAD portfolios from engineering firms, product companies, and design consultancies — the parts, assemblies, and drawings sitting in your archive from completed work. Five-minute intake, written offer, payment on transfer.

Confidential review · NDA available on request · No obligation

Why Sell

Completed projects shouldn't just sit on a server.

Dormant assets, real revenue

Files from delivered projects rarely get opened again. We pay for portfolios that meet our quality and ownership criteria.

Sell it — or just license it

Most sellers license copies and keep every right they hold today, including continued use with their own clients.

Confidential throughout

Mutual NDA on request, ownership verification, secure audited transfer. Your client relationships stay protected.

What We Acquire

Real engineering, at portfolio scale.

Our clients build next-generation engineering, simulation, and design-automation software — and need authentic, professionally produced CAD data at scale. We acquire it on their behalf.

Valuation

Fidelity sets the rate.

Offers are priced per portfolio. Format fidelity sets the per-file rate; volume and sector coverage scale it.

Two ways to sell.

Full exclusive transfer

  • Ownership transfers to us entirely
  • Commands a premium over licensing
  • Suited to retired product lines and wind-downs

FAQ

Questions we hear often.

Who ends up using the files?

Established research organizations and technology companies building advanced engineering software — simulation, generative design, design automation. Files are used internally under license, never resold on public marketplaces or redistributed as individual models.

What about client NDAs on past projects?

Work produced under agreements that restrict reuse isn't eligible — our intake screens for it. What firms typically sell is self-originated: internal R&D, standard components, tooling, and projects where the IP reverted to the firm.

Is my submission confidential?

Yes. Intake information stays within our acquisitions team, and a mutual NDA is in place before any sample exchange.

We're a large firm with governance requirements. Can you work with that?

Yes. We regularly work through procurement, legal review, and information-security questionnaires, and adapt transfer mechanics to your infrastructure.
